Knot Me Out is a collaborative project for RSA’s Student Design Awards 2017/2018 under the Sleep Matters Track, researching and improving sleeping methods targeted at a niche audience.
Knot Me Out aims to improve the sleep quality of domestic helpers because of their around-the-clock working lifestyle, involving the care of elderly and children on top of their mundane household chores. Understanding the limitations of their sleeping environment, Knot Me Out helps in providing warmth and comfort whilst minimising sleep disruption. Regardless of any sleeping position, it can be personalised and ensures that any specific bodily areas needed are warmed throughout the night.
